Manufacturer’s Representative

Sprung Instant Structures Ltd. is a member of the Sprung Group of Companies in business since 1887, which has achieved international recognition by providing over 13,000 building solutions for thousands of different applications in one hundred countries throughout the world.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking to partner with a commission based Manufacturer’s Representative in and around Winnipeg who will look after finding leads and new building opportunities in Manitoba. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales person in the construction industry to expand their knowledge base and work with a provider of a very unique structure.

Primary duties will include, but are not limited to;

  • Identify leads and opportunities to increase brand awareness.
  • Connect with new and existing clients to discuss needs and prospects.
  • Coordinate meetings between the Sales team leader and client.

Qualifications

  • Must have the self-motivation to cold call new clients confidently.
  • Must have professional sales experience, and previous manufacturer’s representation is an asset.
  • A strong construction industry background is a must.
  • An extensive network and networking capabilities are essential.
  • The strong ability to communicate to work effectively with commercial and industrial clients.
  • Excellent time-management skills to ensure all leads are timely followed up on.

A Manufacturer’s Representative is a key contributor of the sales team. The successful candidate will help to develop and maintain our impeccable reputation for the unique and spectacular structures we provide. As the first point of contact in a territory, you will convey confidently how and why our structures can fulfill a client’s needs. The individual must have the ability to actively engage and connect with various industries.
